Kathleen Hicks

Kathleen has organized and run a community dance program in Happy Valley-Goose Bay since 1982, assisted this year by eleven senior student teachers. Primarily ballet based as Kathleen is RAD and Cecchetti trained, the program offers dance opportunities to over 200 dancers, including 36 boys. The program operates out of a local school on Saturdays and one weekday evening.
The dance year runs from October to May culminating in two year end recitals at the local theatre. One show for pre ballet and primary aged dancers and the other for the junior and senior students.
